Priorities

I love this video! Sometimes I get caught up in school and other things and don't take the time to focus on the things that matter most. This video inspires me so much (that sounded really cheesy). My favorite is the family dancing in their kitchen. That's totally going to be me, my husband and my kids someday. I'm so grateful for the moments that I've had lately with family and friends that I've been able to experience and enjoy. Life is SO wonderful!!

Witches' Night Out

On Saturday some of the girls on my mom's side of the family got together and went "witching" up at Gardner Village in West Jordan. SO fun!

We had a little pre-witching photo shoot in the back yard before heading to Annie's

My hair was supa nappy. I ratted it for a fierce witch look....no bueno probably shoulda gone with the wigs like the majority of the mags girls

Pointed hats in people's faces make it hard to take a group picture, but I'd say we were pretty successful

Trick-Or-Treat

Sadly I don't have every picture of Halloween costumes past on my computer. Some were never even documented (elmer's glue), but I thought I'd be festive-ish and post some Halloween pictures from over the years...enjoy.

Lauren as Belle and me as Raggedy Anne

I'm a princess, Lindsey is obviously a witch and Laur was a fifty's girl (see picture next picture for the same poodle skirt on me)

Moe was a cowboy. I miss that guy.

Lauren was a goul. Thankfully she didn't have her mask on. It was frightening. I'm a witch. My mom made my costume. It's so cute right??

Kaile and I went trick-or-treating together every year when we were little. This year I was a southern belle and she was a witch. HA!

3 years later, and Josephine as a southern belle still makes me laugh so hard that I cry.

Bee in college

For the past 2 years I've been a bird. I know you are all wondering if the bird will be making another appearance this year. Stay tuned to find out..

Mom, Holly and I went to "witching" a few years back. We hit up Witches Night Out again this evening (pictures to come, hopefully)

Lastly, one of my person favorites: Candy Land characters for our family Halloween party last year.

I love Halloween. Now, I need to find someone to watch Hocus Pocus and Double Double Toil and Trouble with me. I may or may not have watched Double Double Toil and Trouble on youtube last year alone in my apartment on a Saturday night. Let's go with may not...

Post Title (i'm original)

Nothing significant to blog about, but because I am TERRIBLE at writing in my journal I need to document how I am feeling right now

I am so HAPPY! I can't remember the last time I was this excited. Pure joy. It's the greatest ever! I'm so pumped up today about my future and just life in general. The Lord truly answers our prayers, and so many of mine have been answered lately. I seriously cannot contain my happiness today. I feel like I'm just bouncin' around, because I just want to celebrate.

Today, I look homeless, have tons of school work, am running on little sleep, but I don't even care because there is so much to be grateful for, and I am so happy.

Sorry for my sudden burst of perkiness, I just had to document this so I can look back on it when I am sad or overwhelmed. Now, I'm off to class to learn about adult development and aging. I LOVE my major! I am learning so many things that will help me throughout the course of my life. School is awesome. Life is awesome. You are awesome for reading this! Ok, I'm sufficiently annoying now.

Actually, one more thing. This is a picture of me in my favorite place in the world, Vermont. My mom is in Vermont right now and even my extreme jealousy will not bring me down. GO LIFE!

Baby Friend Turns 21!!!

Yesterday baby friend (Kaile) turned 21! Ah weird! Kaile and I have been friends for 20 years! Yesterday we went up to Salt Lake for conference and celebrated her birthday. It was so fun! I have such great friends. Kaile is one of those amazing friends!

She and I NEVER take pictures and I'm at my cabin so I don't have access to the pictures that I could put up so old pictures that you've already seen will have to do.

Some of my favorite memories with Kaile:

Playing boat, beat the boys, and PP and AG
Acting out The Parent Trap (I was the dominate one in the relationship and would always pick to be Hallie cause I thought she was the cool one. I was kinda fierce as a child. Sorry Kai)
Me doing cartwheels in my front yard every time Kaile left my house
Trick-or-treating every year with our dads
Horseback riding (I MISS THIS SO FREAKING MUCH!)
Hiding from my parents when they'd come to pick me up from her house
Sleepovers and birthday parties
Fashion show (tea party ladies)
Kaile was my good luck charm for soccer and basketball games
She came to my school musicals. Obviously she had to come scope out the man candy (Kai, you know you know you know ;) hahaha)
Car rides on the bumpy road
Primary chaos, achievement days and performing in ward Christmas programs/You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile (we're gonna find a way to get that online haha)
Code names for boys, crushing on the same boys (PH), and horse boyfriends/HRC
Singing/dancing and recording videos before I moved
My summer visits to Maryland after I moved (love doctor)
Calleva (cardboard kingdom, queen of dairy, rafting/sampler)
Calling each other on Christmas every year
Kaile's visits to Utah
College mems

LOVE YOU KAILE! I hope your day was amazing!!!!!
